We grabbed second-row seats for the Fiesta Bowl, and set a date with our lifelong favorite enchiladas down on Indian School Road — but peak event plans center on the Rose Bowl.

CFP Quarterfinals week brings an Oregon vs. Ohio State rematch — revisiting Rose Bowl classics and Oregon’s 32-31 win against the Buckeyes in October.
No. 1 Oregon is 13-0 for the first time in school history (the previous best was Oregon’s 12-1 finish in 2010 when the Ducks advanced to the BCS title game) — and Big Ten champion its first year in the conference.
Undefeated Oregon held the CFP No. 1 ranking wire-to-wire, and the Ducks are the only non-SEC team at AP No. 1 this season (previously Texas, Alabama, and Georgia).
Oregon opened the postseason with a 45-37 win over Penn State for the B1G title in the teams’ first meeting since Oregon’s 1994 Pac-10 Champion squad faced Penn State in the Rose Bowl 30 years ago.
