'Fly Era' uniform reveal for Game 6: Oregon-OhioSt
Shoulder wings & diamond-plate traditions take a bold step forward
PORTLAND, Ore. — Oregon's Game 6 uniform reveal brings out the black-on-black ‘Fly Era’ set introduced this summer to announce the ‘Generation O’ uniform line.
Back for a second game this season are the fan-favorite Wing lids. Black jerseys, pants, and gloves set off metallic silver cleats. Many fans will recall the familiar shoulder wings and diamond-plate elements from prior Oregon jersey designs.
AP No. 3 Oregon will host No. 2 Ohio State for a Saturday late-afternoon kickoff.
The ‘Fly Era’ jersey design includes a combined homage to Oregon greats of the past 20 years, as the shoulder wing & diamond-plate traditions take a bold step forward:
The ‘Fly Era’ shoulder wings recall uniform details of the Jeremiah Masoli and Marcus Mariota eras, trimmed with a strip of the Dennis Dixon and Jonathan Stewart era diamond plate.
The metallic gray jersey numbers are trimmed with a bright green outline.
Oregon’s trademark “O” logo centers on the back of matte-black, silver-wing helmets.
Hints of metallic silver throughout the uniform go primary on silver-gray cleats with a black Swoosh.
