The top 4 remain unchanged with Oregon at CFP No. 1 for the fourth week after a bye in Week 13 — Oregon closes the regular season against unranked rival Washington (6-5, 4-4 B1G) in Week 14.
Ohio State maintained the Big Ten’s sweep of the top two spots — Oregon won heads-up over the visiting Buckeyes, 32-31 in Week 7. Ohio State closes the regular season against unranked rival Michigan in Week 14.
Ohio State won 38-15 over previously undefeated Indiana in Week 13 to drop the Hoosiers five spots to No. 10.
Texas leads the SEC, holding steady at CFP No. 3.
Penn State held its position at No. 4.
ACC: 3 ranked, 2 in top 12
Led by CFP No. 6 Miami (up two spots after winning 42-14 over unranked Wake Forest), ACC teams in the playoff rankings include No. 9 SMU (up four after winning 33-7 over unranked Virginia), and No. 12 Clemson (up five after winning 51-14 over The Citadel).
B1G: 5 ranked, 4 in top 12
Oregon is CFP No. 1 for the fourth week — four of the five CFP-ranked Big Ten teams are in the top four spots.
Behind No. 1 Oregon, CFP-ranked B1G teams include No. 2 Ohio State, No. 4 Penn State, and No. 10 Indiana (down five after losing at Ohio State).
No. 23 Illinois moved up two in its second CFP ranking of the season after winning 38-31 at Rutgers.
Big 12: 5 ranked, none in top 12
The Big 12 added a fifth CFP-ranked team with none in the top 12 for the second week.
CFP-No. 16 Arizona State (up five spots after a 28-23 win over BYU) is followed by No. 18 Iowa St (up four winning 31-28 at Utah), No. 19 BYU (down five after the loss to ASU), No. 24 Kansas State returned after a week unranked (41-15 over Cincinnati), and No. 25 Colorado (down nine after losing 37-21 at Kansas).
SEC: 8 ranked, 3 in top 12
Led by CFP-No. 3 Texas, the SEC is down to three teams in the top 12 spots, including No. 7 Georgia (up three after winning 59-21 over U-Mass), and No. 8 Tennessee (up three after beating UTEP 56-0).
Also representing the SEC in the playoff rankings are No. 14 Ole Miss (down five after losing 24-17 at Florida), No. 15 South Carolina (up three after beating Wofford 56-12), No. 20 Texas A&M (down five after a 43-41 loss at Auburn in 4-OT), and No. 21 Missouri (up two after winning 39-20 at Mississippi State.
